FSSAI stands for Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. Established under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, FSSAI operates as an autonomous entity, responsible for monitoring and governing all facets of the food business landscape in the country. FSSAI registration stands as a critical requirement for all individuals engaged in the food industry, whether they aspire to launch a restaurant, bakery, hotel, cloud kitchen, or food stall in India. Additionally, it is mandatory for every Food Business Operator (FBO) involved in food manufacturing, preparation, sales, transportation, distribution, or storage to obtain FSSAI registration to legally conduct their operations.
